This is interesting. The quote they chose is sort of funny. I cribbed the link from the Morning News.

The name of today is "It's fucking cold but at least it's sunny outside." Or maybe that's the name of the album I'm recording under the name, um let me check my list of possibles... the Cavalry. It's a hybrid of field recordings, undanceable electronic music made on the computer & some lyrics I'm thinking about right this minute.

Mary & I ate at the Fullerton this morning before she left for work. We both had the breakfast special of two eggs, two meats & two sweet bread products: she with french toast & me with pancakes. Coffee, too. I ordered an additional side of bacon but regretted it soon after. I've been taking pictures everyday with a disposable camera that I've been carrying with me. I'm on my third in a ten days. Mary lost one of hers at the Evanston theatre when we went to see Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. It probably had some nice pictures on it too. She spilled Coke in her bag & had to take everything out of it. It was gross. The movie was pretty good, by the way. Chuck Barris seems like a pretty amazing guy who suffers from some pretty amazing delusions. If only George Clooney hadn't decided to include not just himself but Julia Roberts in the movie. I don't care what my mom says, Julia Roberts looks like a horse. Especially when she laughs.

I actually got to cross something off my to-do list this afternoon. I managed to mix some songs that I recorded for my friend Dylan's solo record last spring. Finally. Hopefully, Dylan doesn't think they're too crappy & wants to use them.

I can't believe it took me so long to like the band Spoon. They're damn good, damn good.

Phil Spector got arrested & Mongo Santamaria died. What a week.

Some things that I can't seem to stay away from include Burger King's 99 Cent Menu, eBay & expensive magazines like Big & Relax. Oh...and girls that tell me that they like me. Hurrah!

Cherry Cola Mike & Ike's might just be the most amazing candy I've eaten. At least this year. Fucking yum. They're on sale at Walgreens for a buck & a half & if you're prudent & avoid a stomach ache by eating them in one sitting & don't share with your girlfriend who said she didn't like them but changed her mind when she tried one, a box will last several days. If you're wondering, last year's winner of the Best Candy Ever Award (voted on by myself & my roommate Christian) went to the Reese's FastBreak bar. It's like a Peanut Butter Snickers without the pesky peanuts. Double yum. What a dreary Sunday afternoon. I can't decide whether to go see Russian Ark or take a nap.
