I guess it's over except for the paper that I have to write that was due several weeks ago & that I have to email to two teachers tomorrow. For those of you paying attention, yes, I am turning in the same paper twice. Necessity is the mother of invention or whatever. I wish I could have invented a paper a few weeks ago so I could enjoy my first day of semester break. This irritating guy in my Heavy Art Experience broke a rib this afternoon as a result of performing his final project "piece" that involved falling rather spectacularly off a ladder while unplugging the only light in the room. It was pretty impressive actually. I was disappointed that it didn't suck.

I've got to make a to-do list. We haven't paid the rent yet. Bleh.

Anyone want to buy a 400mHz G4 tower? I need to get one of these here. email me.
I know it's lame to put a link to something that I didn't find personally but cat likers need to take a look at this. Oh boy.
The end is near, really. Last night, in my Studio critique, I looked at more crappy photographs of nude people than I ever thought that I'd see at once. Blech. My friend Heidi & I were being really irritating during quite a few of the presentations. If someone said something like, "There's a new trend in fashion photography that's sort-of experimental..." I would say to Heidi, "More like a new trend in fashion photography that's sort-of crappy." People can be real jerks sometimes. I am no exception. My project went over pretty well. Nobody really said anything besides "I really like it" or "You're so cute!" At least I didn't get a "It's portfolio material!" from the P. LeG. There's a new Harry Potter book coming out in June. I hope he kisses that Asian girl. That'd be sweet. I think that I might watch tv this evening. How exotic.

Watch me put a link in my post for today. I'll put it here...The Morning News It's one of my new favorites. Take a look, buddy. Also, on the plus side today are the following: J.D. Salinger's Franny & Zooey, RC Cola, Sears coats, John Coltrane's Africa/Brass - the Complete Sessions, the egg & cheese sandwich from Chicago Carry-Out, X-Acto knives w/#11 blades, the Epson 9600 & a substance known as "double-tack" that might be described as a 11x14 sheet of double-sided tape but not really. It came in a package of 10 without instructions or even a name-brand. Fantastic. Things on the negative side include not sleeping nearly enough, waking up at 3am & discovering that both of my hands were asleep, the semi-Arctic temperatures, the fact that I really forgot what day it was today, some work that I had to look this afternoon in the Digital Imaging I class that I TA, "jam-bands" that pop up when the mp3 server is on shuffle, Newsweek Magazine & no new emails in my In-Box.

Oh snap! I just figured out how to add a google link to my title block area. It's not really that impressive, I know, but I'm a slow learner. Computers are pretty cool, though.
I am slowly but surely becoming a Final Cut Pro-fessional. As long as I can remember that there are 30 f(rames) p(er) s(econd) & not 60, I will be alright. Big thanks to 7/11 & their fine selection of coffees from around the world for getting me through today & hopefully the next week or so. I had a 16oz. cup of Hazelnut blah blah blah this morning. It was wonderful. If you don't drink caffeine much & then you have a cup of coffee, you'll stay up forever, almost. Today there are 14 entries for my last name on Google. Yup.
