When was the last time you watched a movie by Christopher Guest? After watching about 3 mins. of Best in Show at Virgin while trying not to buy dvds I decided it was a good time to rewatch it & Waiting For Guffman. Some of it is so funny that you can't laugh because you're stunned at how funny it is. Does that make sense? I still have to borrow Spinal Tap from somebody. If only I'd bought the Criterion when it came through Reckless. It's all out of print & shit. His new movie A Mighty Wind is coming out April 16th. It's a spoof of folk singers et al. While you're watching trailers, get excited about yet another good comic book or "graphic novel" being made into a movie. Alan Moore's League of Extraordinary Gentlemen stars Sean Connery & some other people who you can't recognize in the trailer. Now if only Terry Gilliam would do the Watchmen everything would be grand.
